Oh, here goes the Media again....

Media

I'm am so proud of the VT students.  They are fed up with the unmerciful media and they are doing something about it.

Good for them!

I really get tired of the media's bias.  Whether it's to the left or right, it gets old.  I thought editorials were disigned to allow the press to express there opinions in, not while reporting the story.

But them most annoying part of the media is the sensationalism of what they report.  They don't care what's going on, they want to stick a camera in a greiving mothers faces and ask some stupid question like, "How does it feel to loose a child?"

I had a good example of the media's sensationalism of a story, and now I can't find the link, but it's a video of a news reporter, sitting in a little wooden boat, talking about how horrible this flood is, all the while there is a  guy right behind her walking around in some knee high waders with the water only up to his ankles.

Perfect example, but of course I can't find it in my thousands of emails I keep.  I'll keep looking for it, but fee free to post it or a link to it if you have it.

Now that's what I call sensationalizing the news.
