He was convicted for the murders of his wife Laci and their unborn child.

According to Wikipedia a Partial Birth Abortion is defined as:

     “

An abortion in which the person performing the abortion, deliberately and intentionally vaginally delivers a living fetus until, in the case of a head-first presentation, the entire fetal head is outside the body of the mother, or, in the case of breech presentation, any part of the fetal trunk past the navel is outside the body of the mother, for the purpose of performing an overt act that the person knows will kill the partially delivered living fetus; and performs the overt act, other than completion of delivery, that kills the partially delivered living fetus.

     ”

If the fetus is able to live, why would you want to kill it? Their are people alive, today, that were born prematurely at 24 weeks of gestation, that are perfectly normal functioning members of society. Like this kid. This kid was born in 1993, and the technology has progressed in the last 14 years to where I'm sure they can help premature babies that are born even younger.

What really bothers me about this whole topic is the fact that their are hundreds, if not thousands of wonderful loving married couples out there that would jump at the chance to adopt these kids, if they had a chance to.

War in Iraq

I am getting so tired of hearing about how or why we shouldn't be in the war in Iraq. WMD, this, President Bush that, blah, blah, blah.

I think what it really comes down to is this: Is the world a better, safer place with Saddam Hussein gone?

Here's a guy that killed thousands of innocent people out of cold blood, not to mention all the teranical acts that he ordered or that he allowed while in power.

I really think that just to remove Saddam from power, it has all been, and will be worth it. I just can't understand why Most of the democrats and now even some of the republicans would want to pull funding for such a worthy cause. Our military is over there trying to provide the Iraqi people with an opportunity to become a free country, yet our friends in congress are trying to chop them off at the knee's. NICE! With Senators and Congressmen like that, who needs enemies.

So, what do you think? Is the world a better, safer place with Saddam Hussein gone?
